This cafe is tucked just one block off the main highway (Hwy 32). Service was friendly and quick. It's in an obviously old building that is clean, has high ceilings and is well lit. If you're a regular, you can bring a coffee cup and keep it on the back wall. This entitles one to half off the regular price of $1.99 per cup. We ate the breakfast and lunch meals. The meals were large, tasty and filling. Everybody in our party of 5, said the food was good. The prices seemed a little on the high side, hence the 4 stars. The bakery looked delicious, however no one was in any mood for more food. They have an extensive To-Go selection of their bakery items and soups and lunch and dinner entree's. I would definitely go there again.

Stopped in on a road trip. It was convenient to the freeway, with good food, a quaint inside (complete with a little lending library), and very friendly service. There's no outside seating, so not dog friendly, but there's a park directly across the street and they will pack your food to go.

Wonderful food. Great people, we have never been disappointed. The Monte Cristo was amazing! The breakfast was so good we all had to try each others food. This has quickly become our favorite place in Orland to eat. It is located just a quick trip from I-5 so if you are passing through make this a stop!

Best gluten free pancakes I have EVER eaten, hands down, and I have eaten gluten free pancakes everywhere. Everything my friends and I have had on the menu is very tasty!!! Really great customer service as well ðŸ‘

I really like this place. Everyone is nice, place is clean and food is good. The only thing I dislike about this place is the way the menu is worded. Also when I order an omelet with sausage I don't think I will get one tiny sausage link cut into small pieces. I also think the food portions have gotten smaller. Over all a really nice place to earn great for a couple or a family of larger size. The cookies are yummy as well.

Don’t think you can find a sweeter staff or owner. Not only that, the brownies are to die for. I would highly recommend coming in and meeting these guys/gals. Friendly staff and great food. Plain and simple

Smokehouse scramble is delicious! The sausage gravy is also very tasty and the biscuits are the perfect fluffy texture. They also have all kinds of tasty looking treats for the road. Definitely a roadside gem.

Place has great breakfast and yummy lunch options. Hard to beat this for Orland fair pricing and a lot of variety. Plus the baked treats they have are very delicious. They also have home made frozen meals which are beyond covenant. Great place

You know I have been back and forth on Interstate 5 between Redding and Sacramento countless times over the years. In passing through Orland the most I have ever known existed were the fast food places and gas stations. Not wanting fast food, I asked MAPS for restaurants in Orland California and several great sounding places popped up. My eye caught 4th Street Cafe and soooooo I let my phone guide us. WOW! It was fabulous. The burger I had actually tasted like a burger. The server was attentive and kind even though we got there just prior to closing. We're we're the last customers. There is a lot more to Orland. Next time we're pass by there were ate going to stop in eat at the cafe and then do some exploring. Starting with Library Park and an art gallery right there on 4th Street.

If you want to diet STAY AWAY! I've only gone to get treats, but if the food is as good as the desserts then it's amazing! They have a small selection of desserts, but they all are so good! They also change so it's like a surprise everytime you visit! Yummy!

Good desserts. Hard potatoes in my breakfast burrito this morning though. Last time I had biscuits and sausage gravy and that was good I remember.

Had a very good meal. I had the pot roast my friend had the chicken pot pie which is very popular. The atmosphere was was very nice dimly lit kind of soft relaxing if I was on a date could of been romantic. I will go back to try other things on menu.

We got here about 1 hour before closing. Our waitress was sweet, the food was okay... I ordered an omelette & got bacon, instead of ham that I had asked for. Cute place... nice atmosphere. Food was average...

My husband and I drove from Chico to Orland to visit my aunt and uncle's Graves today. Afterwards we decided to go in to Orland and find someplace to eat. We circled the downtown area and settled on 4th Street Cafe and boy! We were so happy that we did! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere and the decor was warm and welcoming the people are so friendly and my strawberry lemonade Mimosa was pretty darn good, too! We really wanted to try there frosted cinnamon rolls but they sold out while we were sitting there. Note to self, get those first!
